No perfect brief required

Begin with what you know.

Give us the useful parts. We can work through the rest together.

What are you buying?
Coffee, sugar, fruit or a product made to a defined commercial brief.
How much do you need?
An estimate is enough at this stage.
Where is it going?
The destination affects the route, timing and landed cost.
What matters most?

Our main focus

Coffee that works beyond the sample.

A good sample is only the start. The quality, consistency, volume, price and route all need to work. A sample can be charming. A container is less easily impressed.

Our closest sourcing relationships are in Brazil and Kenya. When another origin is the better fit, we explore it rather than force the wrong coffee.

Brazil
Close relationships with people near the producers, products and export process.
Kenya
Access through trusted relationships, guided by a clear understanding of the buyer’s requirement.
Other origins
Considered when the product, timing and commercial fit justify the search.

Beyond coffee

If it is new to us, we start with the questions.

We also work with sugar, fruit and processed products.

The method stays the same: define the requirement, identify capable people and test whether the product and commercial route make sense.

New territory deserves more questions, not more confidence theatre.

A clear route from request to delivery.

We understand the requirement

We review the product, quantity, destination, timing and commercial priorities.

We check the options

We speak with producers, suppliers or manufacturers and identify credible possibilities.

We introduce the right people

You speak directly with the relevant partner when there is a genuine fit.

We stay involved

We support the commercial and practical conversations through to delivery.

The honest version

Direct can be better. It is not magic.

Buying closer to the source can improve transparency, economics and long-term supplier relationships.

It can also take longer than buying available stock from a trader. Product, paperwork, payment and shipping all need to align. Planning matters. Paperwork rarely takes initiative.

When the numbers need some help

Not every order needs a container of its own.

Where the product, route and timing align, we may be able to place a suitable order in a container already being filled.

That can make direct sourcing more practical for smaller volumes.

Availability depends on the order, route and current shipments. We will only suggest it when it genuinely fits.

A close network

The order may cross borders. Responsibility stays put.

Coffeenomics is based in Poland, works extensively in the United Kingdom and has close partners in Austria, Brazil, and South East Asia.

We keep people close to the commercial and practical conversations throughout each order.
